3. Walk 1/2 block West across from INsite/Onsite
4. Process to St. James Anglican church (Gore & Cordova Sts.)

Community Feast Day 2016

Please join us in celebrating our 5th Feast Day as a community.
We usually celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dec. 12th on the actual day with a service and feast after at Samaritan House.  However, this year because the renovations to the house are not finished and because Dec 12 is a weekday, we are celebrating the Feast Day on the following Sunday, Dec. 18th.  Please see details below.

Sept. 4th – Worship in Pacific Spirit Park

In collaboration with Salal + Cedar, we will be holding our next service (Sunday Sept. 4th) outdoors in Pacific Spirit Park.


2 pm – 4 pm

Meet in the St. Anselm parking lot
5210 University Blvd (across from the Golf Course entrance)

Walk and pray in Pacific Spirit Park –Musqueam Territory
Celebrate the Eucharist with two alternative Christian communities: Salal + Cedar and Our Lady of Guadalupe Tonantzin

We strive to make Salal + Cedar events accessible to all ages, all bodies, all families, all incomes and all genders
UBC campus is accessible by transit (served by bus # 4, 9, 14, 99, 258)
Parking lot and gardens are flat, packed gravel, paved and grass
Heron and Cleveland trails are mostly flat designated wheelchair accessible with semi-firm packed gravel surface, minimum 1 metre width (maximum 25% slope South of 16th St.)
Trails designated “No Dogs” on weekends


Bring: water, comfortable outdoor wear for the weather, a song or a poem if the spirit moves you and an open heart
